Glorious Countryside

Welcome to the ancient market town of Petersfield, set in the glorious countryside of the South Downs National Park.

Formerly an important coaching centre, Petersfield is a great place to live, work and have fun. In the centre of town, enjoy the Flora Twort Museum, the Physic Garden, the Petersfield Museum, and the Norman church of St Peter’s . You will find a powerful presence of theatre, music, arts, sport, and great pubs , cafes and restaurants in and around the town.

Beautiful countryside surrounds Petersfield, with the South Downs, the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Butser Hill to the south, the Hampshire Downs to the west, and the tree-lined hills of Hill Brow and Durford to the north east. Petersfield is also ideally situated for access to the South Coast and London and is within easy reach of many of the South’s other great attractions.
